PCI-X Interface

The DES-6508 is a 16-port 10100BASE-TX Ethernet module for the DES-6500 chassis switch. Designed to take full advantage of the DES-6500 chassis switchs advanced network functions that link core switches together this 10100BASE-TX module provides 16 RJ-45 ports for workstation connections. All ports support auto-sensing 10100Mbps dual speeds fullhalf duplex and auto-MDIMDIX plug and play installation. The DES-6508 10100BASE-TX module fully complies with IEEE 802.3802.3u and 802.3x standards. It supports 802.3x Flow Control for greater dependability and minimal packet loss.
